Stanton's secret report outed
This report is the product of assembling facts which support a conclusion already
in place. It was not conducted by an "independent third party"...
it was the city investigating itself in order to confirm a foregone conclusion
made 4 months ago.
You may recall that the city manager put into writing to the media, the commission
and the public that an investigation conducted in June had revealed there was
no security breach. LWM discovered there wasn't a scrap or a fragment of any
record of any such investigation anywhere. It was a bogus statement.
This is the report the city manager has kept from the public while letting
select individuals and commissioners have it. One commissioner boasted that
she considered anything given to her was public information and welcomed anyone
who wanted to see it. But over the weekend she avoided calls and decided not
to show it to anyone.
The shocking thing about this which demonstrates the malicious intent of
city management is the fact that the media, select members of the public and
commissioners were given Mr Reyes termination particulars in writing before
either Mr Reyes or Mr Jordan received them in writing. As of the time of this
article, neither Mr Reyes nor Mr Jordan have received anything. This is in violation
of their own HR policy and shows the retaliatory nature of their actions.
This is section 1, of the report. LWM will publish some or sections of the attachments.
It is also striking that according to the report ...the Sheriff said that Mr
Reyes and Mr Jordan "refused to cooperate" and that the city manager
repeated that in front of two sheriffs and they said nothing... yet this is
a totally false statement. Discussions with Captain Silva last night were productive
and he admitted that the attorney for Reyes and Jordan had been cooperative.
This will be pursued and corrections publicly made.
Also there are statements made by FBI Public relations people that are misleading
and incorrect. Those too will be pursued and corrections made.
